Very Rev. A. M. Crofts, O.P., Prior, St. Saviour’s, Waterford, who has been appointed Vicar-Provincial of the Order in Australia, is only 41 -years of age, is as well known in Dublin as in Waterford and his native Cork. Prior to His ordination in 1922 he made a special study of sociology in Belgium under the distinguished Pere Ruttens. and in this respect he has gained a high reputation. His book. ‘Catholic Action,’ is a widely known work, and another treatise, ‘Property and Poverty.’ is to be published soon.
